VITAMIN E

Vitamin E is an essential fat-soluble antioxidant that’s naturally found in the human body. Produced within the pores to protect and nourish, it is distributed to surrounding cells via oily sebum. First discovered in 1922, researchers quickly began to explore its many benefits in treating a range of conditions. Nowadays, Vitamin E is often extracted from plant seeds and used in many skincare products to supplement skin’s natural oils -- of all the antioxidant vitamins, this one has some of the most powerful anti-aging effects on the complexion.

Used in skincare products, Vitamin E is highly protective, hydrating, and anti-aging. It absorbs easily, strengthening and repairing the natural moisture barrier that keeps water locked into skin cells. Keeping the complexion moisturized is absolutely essential for plump, resilient skin that's visibly younger-looking. As a photo-protective antioxidant, this ingredient also helps defend skin against UV damage received from sun exposure, which commonly causes hyperpigmentation, loss of elasticity, fine lines, wrinkles, course texture, and other premature signs of aging.

All skin types can benefit from using Vitamin E in their regimen. With regular use, it helps fortify the complexion for smooth, soft skin that looks and feels vibrantly healthy.
